Redphin structured an agreement that allowed for the future integration of additional regions and product categories
A global leader in the automotive aftermarket, 3M products have long been used by Chip Foose in his Foose Design shop. Redphin developed and negotiated an exclusive sponsorship and endorsement agreement between the two parties, combining the personality and credibility of Chip Foose with the company best known for product innovation. Originally covering the Latin American territory, Redphin structured an agreement that allowed for the future integration of additional regions and product categories. 3M has subsequently activated all options, the agreement now covers worldwide rights and all 3M automotive aftermarket categories.
Chip Foose was the central figure in the advertising/marketing programs of international 3M Affiliates across with globe, with ads in English, Spanish, German, Dutch and Portuguese. He was strategically involved in the launch of several new product and marketing initiatives, including TrizactTM abrasives, AccusprayTM paint system and the Hire Our Heroes charity campaign with NASCAR’s Greg Biffle. Reinforced with visits and personal product demonstrations at select 3M events for distributors and customers, affiliates that received a stop on the “3M Foose Tour” saw their sales double in the year following.
