Five Axis

Growing up in the fertile automotive fields of South Bay, California as a third generation Japanese-American, Troy was fascinated, at an early age, with details, technology, and good design. As a teenager he was continually fixing up cars and drag racing on weekends, which eventually led to a college career at the Art Center College of Design where he graduated with a BS in Automotive Design.

For three years thereafter, he worked in the automotive design field as a fabricator and designer, then started his own business around his passion for creating and building high end showcars and concepts. Starting with an 800 square foot building in Santa Ana and since expanding to over 22,000 square feet in Huntington Beach, Troy has become the name in the concept car world for Scion, Toyota and Lexus. With his breakthrough work on showcars such as the Lexus Project IS F and Toyota FT-HS Concept, Troy has built a high-level of respect and following within the “Tuner” world.

Troy and his company Five Axis continues to expand their sphere of influence through their own product line which includes FIVE:AD Aero Kits and Wheels. Many more Licensing opportunities await Troy and his Five Axis Team.
