Mike Lavallee
Killer Paint
Renowned for his trademark “True Fire” flame designs, Mike is a skilled airbrush artist, fine artist, muralist and painter. A ’79 graduate of Boston’s prestigious Butera Art School, Mike began his career in Sign Painting. He spent weekends traveling around the United States attending Motorcycle Rallies, where he striped, painted and lettered all sorts of two wheeled machines.
In 1999 he opened Killer Paint Airbrush Studios in Snohomish, Washington. After a project with Chip Foose and Overhaulin’, Mike later worked with celebrities such as Jesse James on television based projects for Monster Garage and Miami Ink. Mike has created a complete set of airbrush tools including spray masks and has a line of pinstriping and art brushes.
He is a featured speaker and teacher around the U.S. and is busy with commissioned art and vehicle custom paint and graphics. He has applied his signature style to a multitude of products including painting his signature “True Fire” flames on a helicopter for a chain of pizza restaurants.
Redphin and Mike are expanding his licensing portfolio with projects for Red Bull, Dell Computer, and Kaeser Compressors.
